euro-scene Leipzig memberships in network organisations

The festival has been a member of IETM (International network for contemporary performing arts) for many years; it is the most important network for independent theater in Europe. In addition, euro-scene Leipzig is a member of the ITI (Internationales Theaterinstitut, headquarters in Paris) – German Center, Berlin, and a co-organizer of the Tanzplattform Deutschland.

The festival is financed by Stadt Leipzig (the City of Leipzig) and Sächsisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft, Kultur und Tourismus (the Saxon State Ministry for Higher Education, Culture and Tourism. In addition, other guest performance support comes from foundations and cultural federal state representatives or embassies. Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) and ARTE are cultural partners.
