How do we speak about colonization, revolution or transformation? What do we know about wars and revolutions in other places and at other times? What stories can we tell ourselves that maybe differ from the official history of our respective countries? What responsibility do art, culture and education with their institutions such as theatres, museums and universities have? How many answers are there to the question, who can speak about what? And who is actually “we”?

Based on the performance KOULOUNISATION, we invite you to AFTERSHOW|THOUGHTS & TALKS with the director and performer Salim Djaferi, the anthropologist Dr. Stefanie Mauksch (Leipzig University), the museum educator Christine Fischer (GRASSI Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig) and students of the Institute for Theatre Studies at Leipzig University.
