    • Workshop

To the dance piece »Das Triadische Ballett« (»The triadic ballet«)

»Das Triadische Ballett« (»The triadic ballet«) by Oskar Schlemmer (1922) wrote dance history. Now it has been revived – in the choreography by Gerhard Bohner – thanks to the production by Ivan Liška. For 20 years, Ivan Liška had been the first soloist at the Hamburg Ballett with John Neumeier, and later directed the Ballett der Bayerischen Staatsoper München for 18 years. Today he directs the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich. He himself has danced »Das Triadische Ballett« 85 times.

The workshop is appropriate for amateurs and professional dancers and communicates a number of elements of »Das Triadische Ballett«: after a warm-up, two-dimensional examples of movement of the »Hampelmann« as well as three-dimensional examples from the »Spirale« and »Goldkugeln«. The ideas will be quickly learned, analysed and danced.

At 07. and 08. Nov. »Das Triadische Ballett« (»The triadic ballet«) will be shown at Schauspielhaus.
