Le triomphe de la renommée (The triumph of fame)

Die Räder im Getriebe (the wheels in motion)(2015)

Stage technology – a secret. Stage technology – invisible to most audience members. During the performances, the audience simply sees the stage design, hears the music, sees the lighting effects. The presentation lasts one and a half hours, while the technical work from the unloading of the stage design until the beginning of the performance often lasts two days.

Re:Rosas

The dance performance »Rosas danst Rosas« by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker received its world première in 1983 in Brussels. On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the company Rosas initiated the project »Re:Rosas« in 2013 which invited people around the world to dance their own version of the piece and film it.

Festivalparty

During the festival party, the band mjuix, which was founded in Leipzig in 2007, will perform a concert. The music moves between the synth heroes of the 1980s and the disco-funk-pop of the 2010s.

Der Tanz auf dem Vulkan (The dance on the volcano)

Since 1991, euro-scene Leipzig has brought together the »who’s who« of dance and theatre in a festival that has now become an institution - despite all of the difficulties at the beginning: after the Fall of the Berlin Wall, the drive for complete freedom was followed by the disorientation of »everything is possible«.
