Two mysterious characters appear at a mysterious site. A bright circle of light serves as forbidden terrain that later transforms into a circular arena of daydreams. In this enchanted space, fog envelops the infinite. The especially composed music here creates an intense atmosphere for the two men’s instincts, feelings as well as spiritual battles in Kafkaesque situations.
Both of them have been officially considered missing since age three, and they have been living at this closed location that everyone just calls »station« for the last 123 years. The children, abandoned at birth, not only survived, but in fact developed prophetic abilities. Whether the two men are brothers, friends or bound together by fate remains open. The title of the piece »Állomás» can be translated as »station«, »stop« and »train station«, whereby these allow for associations of life stations, a waiting room or place for departing and arriving.
Ferenc Fehér, born in Debrecen in 1975, belongs to the most important Hungarian choreographers. He was a performer for the Finita la Commedia theatre group in Budapest. Since 2007, he has created approximately 25 of his own pieces, which range from dance to physical theatre, for example »Brothers« (2012) and »Morgan and freeman« (2014). He composes the music for all choreographies on his own, has been a guest at numerous festivals in Europe, Canada, China, Mexico and the USA, gives workshops and has been awarded multiple prizes. His dance piece »Helló, Zombi!« (»Hello, zombie!«, 2015) was invited to euro-scene Leipzig 2016.
